Why No Barriers Project Exists

Too often, needing mental health care is only the beginning of the challenge. Cost, insurance limitations, transportation, childcare, difficulty navigating community systems, and other practical barriers can stand between a person and the care or resources they need.

No Barriers Project was created to help change that. We are building an organization focused on creating more accessible pathways to mental health care, resource connection, family support, veteran support, and community-based services in Springfield and southwest Missouri.

Our vision is not simply to tell people where help may exist. It is to reduce the barriers that make getting that help difficult in the first place.

We are currently building from the ground up by seeking funding, developing partnerships, connecting with other organizations, and gathering resources that can strengthen the support available in our community.

As the organization grows, our long-term vision includes accessible mental health services, case management and resource navigation, support for families and veterans, and a future campus with outdoor spaces that can incorporate nature into healing.

Where we are today: No Barriers Project remains in its startup and fundraising phase. Direct clinical services are not yet available through the organization.
