Volunteer With No Barriers Project

Help us strengthen connections to accurate, useful community resources throughout Springfield and surrounding communities.

Help Us Remove Barriers

No Barriers Project is growing, and volunteers can play an important role in helping us strengthen connections to resources throughout our community.

We are currently seeking volunteers to help verify community resources, research new resources, identify community events and opportunities, and contact local organizations and mental health practices to help us maintain accurate, useful information for individuals and families.

Ways You Can Help

  • Verify information on existing community resource lists.
  • Research and identify new community resources.
  • Contact community organizations by phone or email to verify information.
  • Research upcoming community events, resource fairs, educational events, family activities, and support opportunities.
  • Help organize collected information.
  • Contact private mental health practices to verify services, populations served, insurance and payment options, and treatment modalities offered.

Where Volunteers Can Help

Volunteer opportunities may include Springfield, Republic, Nixa, Ozark, Marshfield, Strafford, Willard, Rogersville, and other surrounding communities.

No previous experience is required. Whether you have a few hours each month, want to help with a specific project, or are interested in volunteering on an ongoing basis, we would love to hear from you.
